Grower-Focused Session Set for APRES Annual Meeting

Peanut producers attending the 2025 American Peanut Research & Education Society (APRES) Annual Meeting in Richmond, Virginia, are invited to a complimentary, grower-focused session packed with practical research and production insights.

Scheduled for Thursday, July 17, from 9:45 a.m. to noon at the Omni Richmond Hotel, this special event is designed with growers in mind and will cover ready-to-use strategies in pest and disease management, calcium nutrition, variety performance, and more.

Highlighted topics include the Peanut Variety & Quality Evaluation (PVQE) Program, options for rootworm management, Benghal dayflower in Georgia, stand reduction at different growth stages, calcium application and pod development, white mold fungicide comparisons, and long-term production trends in North Carolina.

Attendance is free for peanut growers, but space is limited, and RSVPs are required. Interested growers should email christina.taylor@apresinc.com with their name and mobile number to secure a seat and receive any last-minute updates.

This is a unique opportunity for growers to hear directly from leading researchers and take-home insights that can improve their operation this season and beyond. If you farm peanuts, or support those who do, make plans to attend or help spread the word.

Thank you for your continued commitment to advancing peanut research and education!
