ATLANTA (June 23, 2025) — The National Peanut Board (NPB) will hold its board and committee meetings and annual budget-setting session July 8–9, 2025, at the Kimpton Hotel Arras in Asheville, North Carolina. A key highlight of the meeting will be the presentation, discussion and Board vote on the proposed fiscal year 2026 (FY-26) Program of Work and budget.
These meetings provide an essential opportunity for NPB’s leadership, staff and stakeholders to align on priorities that support U.S. peanut farmers through promotion and research. The proposed FY-26 Program of Work and budget reflects NPB’s continued commitment to improving the economic condition of U.S. peanut farmers and their families.
“The annual budget-setting session is a cornerstone of our work at the National Peanut Board,” said NPB Chair and Georgia Board Member Casey Cox Kerr. “This is where strategic planning meets execution, ensuring that we remain responsive to industry needs and consumer trends while delivering value to growers.”
The agenda includes committee meetings, promotional planning, a detailed work session and opportunities for the Board and staff to engage in community service. The Board will hold a final vote on the FY-26 Program of Work and budget during the general session on Wednesday, July 9. The National Peanut Board’s FY-26 begins Nov. 1, 2025 and ends Oct. 31, 2026.
