The National Peanut Board (NPB) is excited to welcome Danielle Karnbach as its new Director of Communications, bringing with her a decade of experience in strategic communications and reputation management, along with a deep-rooted passion for the food industry.
Danielle joins NPB with an impressive track record of guiding global brands through complex consumer, industry, and media landscapes. Known for her ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate in culture while maintaining brand trust, she has supported a diverse portfolio of clients, including Marshalls, Hilton, Charles Schwab, and Volkswagen. Her work also includes long-term strategic support for Taco Bell and Yum! Brands, where she helped translate nuanced topics into engaging, credible stories.
Her transition to NPB marks a meaningful full circle moment. Danielle began her career with Planters as a “Peanutter,” traveling the country in the iconic NUTmobile and sharing the joy of peanuts with communities nationwide.
Most recently, Danielle served at global communications firm Edelman, where she further refined her expertise in storytelling, brand positioning, and reputation strategy. Her ability to navigate complex messaging environments and connect with diverse audiences will play a key role in advancing NPB’s mission and amplifying its voice across key stakeholder groups.
Originally from Florida and now a proud Atlanta resident of five years, Danielle brings both professional expertise and personal enthusiasm to her new role. As NPB looks ahead to a dynamic year, her leadership will be instrumental in shaping and strengthening the organization’s communications strategy.
Please join us in welcoming Danielle to the team as we look forward to the impact of her vision, creativity, and experience in the months ahead.
